Attorney David R. Spencer

Mr. Spencer, is an aggressive and experienced criminal law attorney.  His practice is focused on client representation in criminal and civil matters in Watford City, Minot and Williston.  He has won numerous motions to dismiss and suppress evidence, has  excellent real-time oral  advocacy skills, and he will  work with  you  to obtain the best possible outcome in your case.  David grew up and went to law school in Michigan, but he fell in love with Western North Dakota after relocating there in 2014.  David opened The Spencer Law Firm in 2015 in Minot, North Dakota.  Prior to that he managed and oversaw the opening of the Watford City Public Defender's Office in Watford City North Dakota.  During his time there, David represented clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges.  He is a fighter in the courtroom and vigorous advocator for Criminal Defendants and Civil Clients.  David maintains great contact with all of his clients and will return every phone call to his office.  

In addition to Criminal Defense, David is a court roster certified Mediator in the State of North Dakota.  He has background experience in civil law including contract disputes, family law, and personal injury matters.
